Cropped soupCanning your own soup is a great way to use all of the fresh vegetables of the season, but better yet is the convenience of having it in your pantry in the winter months. What a pleasure it is to have a jar of health (no preservative) soup to grab and heat up on those days when you don’t have time to cook. Gary and Nancy Leahy, Certified Health Coaches and expert canners are delighted to instruct you on how to can your own soup. Bring your own aprons as this is ” hands on”. You will learn about food safety and how to use a pressure canner. Each participant will take home a pint of vegetable soup, along with detailed handouts. All materials included. Class participation is limited to seven.
